Nakaupo sa isang tabi
nakamasid sa malayo waring may larawang hinahabi
isip ay tangay
sa mga ala-alang
pilit inihihiwalay
ngunit kusang bumabalik
sa bawat paghibik
sa isipang pagod
pagod sa paglimot
pagod sa kalumbayang dulot
Sana’y di na lang …
inasam na malaman
na nagyon sa puso ay siya pa ring laman
napagtanto kasing minsan
ang ligaya na ikaw ay masilayan
sa mga ngiting , ako’y dating dahil
nakakatuwa lang isipin [...]

just another sad afternoon

She looked up
only dark clouds
another rainy afternoon
her heart refused the dance
the tune of gentle raindrops
tears fell
her eyes deny

This distance ….. this coldness
to demand this distance before its due

but it was not physical space she feared
She knew soon she will have to leave
To seize every chance
is what she willed
only to save new memories
